If so, we want to hear from you. This is a rare opportunity for an individual to join the team as a CSMC Quality Senior Investigator in Middletown, CT.

Responsibilities include:

  • Guide the MOD center investigation team through the DIVE process for all escapes and provide technical guidance to the CSMC Quality Engineering organization.

  • Coordinate the execution of DIVE investigations with SQEs, Lead and facilitate the Focused Product and Process Audit play book and standard work.

  • Provide input for the Focused audit schedule based on supplier predictive risk tool scores

  • Support compliance monitoring activities, including audits and self-evaluations.

  • Support Ethics and Compliance concerns within the supply base.

  • As applicable, investigate, coordinate and oversee the independent investigation of all supplier escapes to include population bounding, root cause, corrective actions and implementation.

  • Participate in Quality investigations and improvement activities.

  • Follow up on Corrective actions tied to Investigations / Disclosures Lead investigations into escapes and non-compliances to determine root cause, identifying robust corrective actions and tracking effectiveness Support risk assessments and mitigation activities.

  • Seek continuous improvement and use ACE tools to analyze past events (including root causes) in order to improve systems and controls.

  • Coordinate and maintain Quality Clinic activities.

  • Travel may be up to 10%.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quality

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing or Engineering field

  • 1+ years of experience with Word, PowerPoint, Excel

  • US Citizen due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree preferred

  • Working knowledge of P&W Management System.

  • Quality System knowledge

  • Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities

  • High energy, dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement

  • Excellent judgment and professional maturity

  • Ability to create positive relationships and craft clear communications

  • Computer skills- Proficient in Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, Project

  • Highly motivated and a self-starter with a strong desire to succeed and pursue continued growth and developmental opportunities

  • Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management and external customers

  • Excellent leadership, communication, prioritization, project management and multi-tasking skills

  • Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manner
