Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Pratt & Whitney Compression Systems Engineering is seeking a goal oriented, detail focused project engineer to work on the F135 Fan module. You will work with various Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTL) on multiple projects to drive project completion. This position requires leadership, team work, communication skills, and a can do attitude

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate with IPTL’s to meet technical requirements and hardware deliveries.

  • Lead and run Green Belt projects to understand process variation and apply appropriate process controls.

  • Plan and manage budget for select tasks.

  • Prepare and present status on technical content to IPTL/CIPT

  • Process Class 2 engineering changes and limits tasks as needed.

  • Coordinate evaluation and disposition of quality non-conformances and supplier requests for information

  • 10% travel

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and 2+ years of engineering experience OR Master's degree and 1+ years of engineering experience

  • US Citizen due to program requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering

  • Possess Excellent Judgement and professional maturity

  • Analytical Skills

  • Ability to provide creative solutions

  • The ability to create positive relationships and craft clear communication
