Pratt & Whitney Cold Section Engineering (CSE) is seeking a goal oriented, detail focused project engineer to work for the F135 Fan as an Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL). The selected Candidate will be the Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) focal responsible for task execution on the Fan Inlet Case Assembly (FIC). This position requires proven leadership, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated project management experience. Specific Responsibilities Include: •Coordinate and lead an Integrated Product Team (IPT) consisting of a cross functional group of project, design, structures, aerodynamics, and Heat Transfer engineers as to meet technical requirements and hardware deliveries. •Plan and manage budget for all hardware and tasks and delivery of those tasks to plan. •Prepare and present status and technical content to CIPT, CSE Leadership, and senior Pratt & Whitney management. •Work with Purchasing and Commodities organizations to track and manage hardware through all processes and requirements required to deliver the FIC to end customers. •Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation plans. •Lead cost reduction and sustainment initiatives. •Process Major Class 1 engineer changes that effect product fit, form, and function. •Process minor Class 2 engineering changes to expand tolerances as needed. •Coordinate evaluation and disposition of quality non-conformances and supplier requests for information.

Qualification: Basic Qualifications: •BA/BS degree OR MA/MS degree in engineering or technical discipline ◦Bachelor’s candidates must have 6+ years of experience in design structures OR engineering project work ◦Master’s candidates must have 4+ years of experience in design structures OR engineering project work •Most recent 2 years of experience must have been in project work-Project Management experience and experience managing technical projects •Previous experience in either development or production environment executing hardware deliveries. •US Citizenship required due to access to proprietary information. Preferred Qualifications: •Experience with project management and leading a team •Experience working in the Aerospace Industry, specifically Jet engines •Previous Military programs experience •Previous experience in a role with high visibility and presenting to senior level management •Expert communication skills Travel: 10%

Education: Education REQUIRED: BA/BS degree in engineering or technical discipline PREFERRED: MA/MS degree in engineering or technical discipline PWRSR
