If so, we want to hear from you. This is a rare opportunity for an individual to join the team as a Quality Metrics Coordinator in Middletown, CT. P&W Compression System Module Center (CSMC) is expanding its Quality Clinic to incorporate all aspects of supplier and shop quality analysis and improvement initiatives. As a member of the Clinic team, we are looking for a motivated, high energy and innovative Metrics Coordinator to lead CSMC data analysis initiatives. The Coordinator supports both Supplier and Shop Quality in all aspects of data analytics and reporting. CSMC manufactures Compressor and Turbine Rotors, Drums, Disks, Hubs and Fan Cases, for multiple commercial and military engine programs. CSMC is the Center of Excellence for the manufacturing and inspection of Integrated Blade Rotors (IBR) for the F119, F135 and Next Generation Product Family (NGPF). The Metrics Coordinator will be the point of contact for all Quality metrics.

Responsibilities include:

  • Compile, analyze and report on quality data including KPC, UPPAP, Cost of Poor Quality, Quality Notifications and other quality metrics.

  • Develop standards for quality data metrics reporting.

  • Coordinate with other data collection functions to ensure accuracy across departments (Mod. Center, Core Quality, Finance).

  • Compile monthly reports and presentations for working teams and executive meetings.

  • Work with the Business Analytics Development group to integrate Mod. Center data requirements into corporate data management systems.

  • Coordinate activities related to the development of Digital Factory tools related to quality metrics and processes.

  • Establish communications and coordination with all teams to ensure data is effective and useful for driving quality improvements.

  • Travel may be up to 20%.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or Supply Chain experience

  • 1+ year of Data analytics experience

  • 1+ year of all Microsoft Office business applications

  • 1+ year of experience using production information systems such as SAP

  • US Citizen due to government contracts

  • Ability to create professional business presentations

  • Excellent communication, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.

  • Ability to work with all levels of management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Pratt & Whitney Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or Supply Chain.

  • Experience as part of a PW Quality Clinic team or other process enhancement team.

  • Experience as part of a PW Quality Clinic team or other part problem resolution team.

  • Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles, i.e. Lean, ACE, QCPC, DIVE

  • Excellent communication, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.

  • Ability to work with all levels of personnel and management.

  • Knowledge of aircraft hardware.
