Pratt & Whitney is hiring a Purchasing Analyst in Oklahoma City, OK. This position will support engine component repair services for various P&W MRO business units, government programs and foreign military customers. Perform various Purchasing, Delivery Assurance and Supply Chain Management functions while maintaining focus on engine readiness for our customers.

The selected candidate will:

Perform procurement functions on a daily basis such as; purchase order placement and modification, request for quote creation, order expediting, supplier management, cost analysis, price negotiation, problem solving, and metrics reporting/analysis.

Provide delivery assurance oversight including WIP status review, logistical support, and priority guidance.

Perform assessments of the supplier’s capability to perform and sustain performance.

Engage the supplier to diagnosis risks and work to develop a comprehensive gap plan.

Follow-up with the Program team to validate the gap plan and monitor progress to ensure the benefits are being achieved.

Establish leading indicators of performance and track weekly at each supplier.

Intervene to expedite deliveries and/or resolve delivery issues as required.

Interface with ME Spares and LPM organizations to resolve repair detail shortages.

This individual must support the departmental compliance to UTC Code of Ethics, Environmental, Health and Safety, P&W Procurement Manual, P&W Policies & Procedures.

Occasional travel required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance, Supply Chain Management , Business or related discipline

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Microsoft Office

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience analyzing and creating complex reports and metrics from ERP data

  • US Citizen due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP or related ERP system is preferred

  • Experience with continuous improvement processes is desirable.

  • Knowledge of procurement in support of government contracts is desirable.
