Job Description

The North Berwick Engineering Center (NBEC) has engineering responsibility for several engine components across all of Pratt & Whitney's military and commercial products. NBEC is specifically looking for a highly motivated and disciplined individual, who is technically competent to be a Project Material Control (PMC) Manager. The PMC Manager is an integral part of the NBEC leadership team and serves as the direct line supervisor for a team of PMC Specialists.

Your Responsibilities include:

  • You are responsible for managing a team that ensures the input and delivery of development hardware for NBEC.

  • You will split your time between executing PMC development hardware functions and managing a small group of PMC Specialists.

  • Management responsibilities include employee development, mentoring and ensuring PMC coverage. T

The NBEC PMC Manager is a challenging and visible leadership position for the right individual. Expert communication skills are essential in order to be effective across all levels of the organization.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering required

  • 10 years experience in PMC (Project Management Control) or Project Engineering; some management experience preferred

  • US citizenship is required due to government program requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some management experience preferred

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Two-year Associates degree or Bachelor degree in related field is preferred.
