Job Description

The Structures Engineer will be responsible for evaluating the structural integrity of gas turbine parts including pre/post process FEA analysis to ensure deflections, fatigue life, crack growth life and frequencies are within margins.

Qualification:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering is required. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

  • 4-7 years of experience in designing hardware, analyzing test data, conducting finite element or structural analysis is required.

  • US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Alien status

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering is preferred.

  • Experience designing or analyzing gas turbine engine hardware are a plus

  • Demonstrated strong teaming and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with ANSYS FEA package preferred,

  • Proficient with MS office (excel, power-point, word),

  • Familiarity with UG CAD a plus.

Education:
