Reporting to the Quality Manager, as the NADCAP (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting and driving Nadcap initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Lead and support the NADCAP internal audit team (including, but not limited to setting up audit dates, coordinating with Quality Control, Maintenance and Engineering issue post audit corrective actions and ensure timely completion, and liaising with the NADCAP staff Engineer as required to ensure closure of all corrective actions (CAs)

  • Download NADCAP applicable audit checklists from the PRI portal (eAuditNet)

  • Develop and update annual internal audit schedule for each cell/process; prepare internal audit packages.

  • Track audits to ensure on time completion

  • Act as a main focal person during Nadcap audit, provide all necessary support to the Nadcap auditors while they are on site to make successful execution of the audit

  • Review completed audit packages and coordinate report out meetings as required

  • Coordinate activities with Quality Administrator for required corrective actions

  • Monitor issued CAs to ensure responses are provided within thirty (30) days; review issued CAs for completeness and follow up on all ECDs

  • Collect objective evidence for all submitted CAs

  • Close out post audit packages and prepare final packages for archiving

  • Develop and report NADCAP Audit & CA metrics for Management reviews and provide technical support to all technicians and relevant personnel in order to streamline audited process

  • Provide Nadcap compliant and valuable inputs when new equipment and processes are needed within the facility

  • Provide guidance to any technical related questions that could impact Nadcap compliance

  • Promotes and supports RCCA for all snags, tags, IDR's, and escapes

  • Acts as a key driver in aiding the Quality Specialist build a culture of tackling non-compliances when they occur, and driving to root cause to eliminate the re-occurrence

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Engineering Drawings, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 Yrs. of relevant experience

  • Demonstrated NADCAP knowledge

  • Demonstrated ability to act as an agent of change within the organization

  • Demonstrated training facilitation skills complemented with effective presentation skills

  • Demonstrated computer skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge in the areas of manufacturing, non-destructive testing, plating, and shot peening strongly preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline from an Accredited Institution
