Primary Responsibilities :

  • Provides technical quality leadership in developing and implementing quality systems, procedures, and plans for all areas of the business as appropriate to assure the high quality of products and associated services

  • Determines compliance to quality systems and identifies opportunities to improve product quality, efficiency of quality techniques, and customer satisfaction.

  • Performs or administers various quality system procedures, controls, and analyses

  • Participates in quality improvement projects and assures coordination with other functions or value stream objectives, as well as compliance with regulatory, customer, and company quality requirements

Core Responsibilities

  • Reviews Component Maintenance Manuals, Engineering Orders, Service Bulletins, Service Letters, and customer specifications to assess business risk and ensure Quality System meets applicable requirements

  • Works with service facilities to resolve quality related issues for processes, equipment, and various customer, regulatory, or internal requirements

  • Monitors compliance to internal and external quality systems including but not limited to FAA, EASA, CASA, HKCAD, AS, and CASE

  • Tracks quality information (FPY, Delivered Quality, etc.);

  • administers corrective and preventive action information (root cause, trends, solutions, recommendations, etc.) to management and service personnel;

  • assists in resolving centrally designated issues as identified in the CAPA system to include investigation and actions to resolve problems

  • Interfaces with customers for audits, inspections and performance metrics;

  • reviews customer and regulatory documents and audit findings;

  • incorporates requirements or corrective actions into quality system and procedures Serves as project lead for special quality-related assignments, as necessary

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ of Quality experience

  • Ability to problem solve, exercising creativity with practical solutions

  • Experience in leading root cause analysis such as 8D, 6 Sigma, or other problem-solving methodologies

  • Knowledge of writing work instructions and operating procedures

  • Technical background (engineering, manufacturing) to facilitate implementation of aviation documents

  • Working knowledge of aviation technical documents (CMMs, FARs, ADs, SBs, SLs, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using precision measuring equipment

  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated success communicating with various stakeholders (engineering, sales, operations)

  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data, and communicating findings and recommendations to senior management

  • Attention to detail

  • Leadership and teamwork abilities at all levels of the organization

  • Shall pose unquestionable integrity, sound judgment, and a cooperative attitude

  • Strong work ethic, motivation, and ability to work with limited supervision

  • Champions change and continuous improvement as business opportunities

  • In-depth knowledge of aircraft landing system products and services

  • Experience in process auditing

  • Familiarity with AS9100/9110

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, manufacturing, technology or business from an Accredited Institution or

  • Master's Degree with 3 years of experience.
