Based in Peshtigo, Wisconsin, the Sales and Business Development Specialist is responsible for marketing and sales of the ultra-legacy product line of seats. This includes customer engagement, product presentations, quote generation, quotation follow-up, order processing, general customer questions, trade show support, and marketing support. This role will be responsible for understanding the trends in the marketplace and communicating them back to the business leaders. Responsibility and management of sales targets fall under this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow the Ultra Legacy Aftermarket Channel through the quoting and sales of replacement seats for existing aircraft to new and existing customers

  • Develop sales proposal estimates based on customer specifications

  • Conduct customer needs assessments to promote products and services

  • Proactive and assertive outreach to potential customers, including scheduling appointments

  • Utilize applicable sales tools effectively

  • Collaborate with internal staff to deliver quality results

  • Develop long-term relationships and build partnerships with the customer

  • Achieve annual sales and gross margin targets while maintaining focus on cash flow management

  • Develop account management skills and provide customers with superior value and service

  • Possess broad product knowledge of all ultra-legacy seat models and applications

  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of products

  • Exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit and selling strategy

  • Ability to take ownership of assigned projects, handle ambiguity and independently drive for results

  • Strong customer focus with a good business acumen

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

  • Ability to act strategically and tactically to support business needs
