The Stockroom/Shipping/Receiving Supervisor provides technical and supervisory direction to the Stockroom, Shipping and Receiving areas, ensuring materials are timely and accurately received, stocked, distributed and/or shipped.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedules work flow and organize stockroom/shipping/receiving teams to meet production and shipping schedules.

  • Achieve Safety, Productivity, Quality, and Delivery targets by driving efficiencies and continuous improvement. Set daily and weekly goals for materials team and drive achievement of goals.

  • Evaluate performance and conducts performance reviews.

  • Ensure team conformance to organization policies and procedures.

  • Resolve employee conflicts and troubleshoot and solve materials issues.

  • Initiate or recommends plans to motivate employees to achieve goals.

  • Develop and implement standard processes, work instructions and training plans for department.

  • Prepare and present information such as results and processes to management and employees.

  • Ensure the execution of the cycle counting processes and investigate and resolve all errors. Responsible for coordinating physical inventory activities as required.

  • Support Foreign Trade Zone operations and ensure compliance.

  • Champion the organization’s culture and communicates vision and goals regularly.

  • Champion continuous improvement activities.

  • Manage inventory transactions.

Qualification:

  • Inventory management and manufacturing experience, with a strategic focus.

  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal skills.

  • Experience with ERP systems, materials functions, data reporting and analysis.

  • Must be able to pass and maintain ATF Clearance.

  • Ability to resolve conflicts.

Education:

  • BA or BS degree and at least 2 years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
