Description:

The A320neo Manufacturing Cell Team Leader is responsible for quality, OTD "On-Time-Delivery of the A320neo nacelle components and the safety of its personnel. Daily activities include driving the business to support our customer requirement utilizing Lean Principals. Provide guidance and coaching for salaried and hourly staff. Provide status updates on the health of the line to various levels of leadership. Mitigate risks and find opportunity for process improvements. Strong Continuous Improvement ability. Global thinker with strong interpersonal skills. Leads a project team or multiple smaller project teams or leads a functional team or unit in an area of expertise. Prepares, monitors and may be responsible for budget, staffing and or business/operational results of a functional team or project. Directly manages individual contributors and may manage supervisors or group leaders.

Qualification:

Required Skills:

Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to support intermediate MRP/ERP systems, skilled in P.C. transactions.

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate at all levels.

Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Project, etc.)

Preferred Skills:

Structured (CI) Continuous Improvement experience, manufacturing experience leading a diverse team with strong interpersonal skills highly preferred.

Understanding and application of concepts related to situational management and day-to-day coaching is highly desired.

Report to management conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that they may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards.

  • The incumbent is responsible for promoting actively an ethics-based business culture in his/her organization, ensuring that all associates are aware of and fully comply with UTC's "Code of Ethics" the "Policy Statement on Business Ethics and Conduct in Contracting with the U.S. Government," and related polices. Incumbent shall ensure that employees are trained in the standards of conduct articulated in the "Code of Ethics" and that policies, procedures and other materials that explain in a practical manner what is required of employees are available or disseminated. This includes taking all steps necessary to foster open communications and to support UTC's compliance, business practices, DIALOG and Ombudsman programs.

Education:

  • BA/BS Degree with 6-10 years related experience

  • MA/MS Degree with 4-7 years related experience
