We are seeking a highly motivated individual for our Site Administrative Assistant role supporting the Aerostructures facility located in San Marcos, Texas. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter with the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment handling a varied array of duties and with a focus on time management and attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of administrative duties in support of the Manufacturing Site.

  • Prepare reports and summaries relative to manpower, overtime, budgets, etc.

  • Maintain high degree of confidentiality in reporting technical information and all other subject matter.

  • Maintain appropriate department records.

  • Generate standard work practices and modify as needed.

  • Coordinate projects and events to support multiple departments

  • Retrieve and compile data to track and collect business unit metrics for management. Prepare reports and presentations as required.

  • Support other departments during periods of absences such as vacations, etc.

  • Interface with suppliers or other internal customers to meet the needs of the business unit.

  • Archive documents per applicable retention policies and procedures.

  • Schedule area activities for the business unit staff when requested.

  • Place orders for office and shop supplies.

  • Use ACE tools as part of daily work activities.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing site & facilities business functions

  • Basic statistical and accounting skills

  • Highly organized working in a fast-paced environment

  • ACE/Lean Knowledge

  • Flexibility around shifts for training and to maintain workflow, to include overtime

  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously

Education:

  • Associate's Degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience
