Role Overview

This position is for a Continuous Improvement Coordinator (Achieving Competitive Excellence/ACE Coordinator) who is under direct supervision. Assists with ACE activities for improving business process & results. Develops routine reports and basic communication materials that outline ACE criteria.

Responsibilities:

  • Tracks the status and findings of small- to mid-scale ACE projects.

  • Works under direct supervision to assist with the maintenance of ACE policies and programs.

  • Assists with ACE activities for improving business process & results by improving ACE awareness and skills of ACE tools application.

  • Assists with coordinating and scheduling ACE activities, including assessments, events and council meetings.

  • Translates, distributes, and maintains limited to mid-scope ACE policy and procedure documents.

  • Maintains the ACE data management and training systems.

  • Develops routine reports detailing ACE activities.

  • Develops basic communication materials that outline ACE criteria, goals and assessment results.

  • Tracks the status and findings of small to mid-scale ACE projects.

  • Develops and manages quality programs (e.g., ACE) to assist internal staff, suppliers, customers, and partners with initiatives to re-engineer processes and methods that adequately assure quality of an organization's products.

  • Oversees internal ACE/Lean training and facilitates ACE events.

  • Ensures and enables ACE site & Cell certifications.

  • Recommends process and procedural changes to ensure that company objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, and quality are met.

1st shift: 5:30 am - 2:00 pm + occasional overtime

  • Two years continuous improvement or quality experience in manufacturing or production or office environment

  • Minimum one year experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, or PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • AA degree or post high school degree

  • Team player

  • Attention to detail

Education:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
