We have a rare opportunity for a Production Supervisor at our Springdale, AR facility.

The Springdale, AR case repair facility is looking for a 1st shift Cell Leader. The individual will lead a team of 10-15 employees tasked with meeting EHS, customer, quality, delivery, and financial goals within the facility.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • You will set operational direction on case repair completion, training plans, production scheduling, project implementation, continuous improvement, and communication with leadership and direct employees.

  • You will be responsible for: case delivery to both internal and external customers, EH&S performance, labor hours / cost reduction, and workforce development.

  • You should embrace the ACE Operating System (continuous improvement) and thrive in a team environment with high performance expectations.

  • Allocate work and assign manpower

  • Strong leadership focus on continuous improvement, FOD, Quality, and EH&S initiatives -

  • Provide leadership and direction with emphasis on team building through weekly toolbox meetings, monthly All Hands meetings, effective communications, and in developing an efficient team that is responsive to production requirements and change -

  • Establish work schedules taking into account customer requirements, resource availability, and other priorities -

  • Work dedicatedly to address issues and engage the workforce in achieving cell goals - Communicate to peers requirements at supporting process to ensure smooth process flow -

  • Hold employees accountable while maintaining a key working relationship

  • Ensure world-class safety culture is maintained and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly -

  • Ensure full involvement in ACE continuous improvement initiatives - utilizing ACE tools to improve production, performance, and reduce scrap, rework, and repair.

  • Control quality, productivity and process flow to meet COPQ requirements while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.

  • Ability to work with all levels of management and communicate effectively with peers, customers and clients.

  • You can drive obligations to closure with precision to benefit the organization and every constituent.

  • You are highly motivated who enjoys operating in a dynamic environment and enjoys the challenges of process improvement and "lean" manufacturing initiatives.

  • You've had success working in a high energy and fast paced manufacturing environment with the ability to adapt to changing business conditions.

  • You can plan projects and to use written/verbal/analytical/organizational skills to influence business objectives.

  • You can present concepts, obtain information and work with multi-functional teams

  • You should be highly self-directed and able to learn quickly with a strong ability to drive and deliver results

  • You are a US Citizen, due to Government Contracts.

Education

  • BA/BS required; Engineering or Operations Management preferred.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years in Operations is required.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience required in MS Office programs with advanced skills in Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Turbine engine overhaul and repair or related experience is desired, as well as, logistical, materials management, and financial experience.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with direct supervisory experience strongly preferred.

  • Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles (e.g. lean manufacturing, ACE, QCPC)

  • You are a great teammate with excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
