Description:

This position will have responsibility within Pratt & Whitney’s Military Engines, Mobility Programs as the Engine Sustainment Support Liaison at the Military Engines Heavy Maintenance Center; located at Tinker Air Force Base Oklahoma. The candidate will be the primary liaison with the USAF F117 Program Offices (to include Engineering and Sustainment) and the P&W F117 Military Engines Heavy Maintenance Center; located at Tinker Air Force Base Oklahoma.

This position will be stationed in Pratt & Whitney’s facility; located at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. Occasional domestic travel may be required.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Pratt & Whitney’s Military Engines and Tanker Programs Engine Sustainment Support Liaison at the P&W F117 Military Engines Heavy Maintenance Center; located at Tinker Air Force Base Oklahoma.

  • Emphasis on programs interaction with F117 USAF Program Offices (to include Engineering and Sustainment). Interface, plan, and ensure proper team coordination

  • Develop and maintain dialogue with the USAF and Pratt & Whitney personnel, obtaining and furnishing technical, programmatic, and business information as it relates to the Performance Work Statement for the F117 ESS Contract.

  • Develop appropriate contacts to provide Company management with insight to support execution, planning and customers’ requirements.

  • Provide assessments of customer needs, directions, and perspectives.

  • Monitor and assure P&W products & services are meeting customer’s requirements and recommend corrective action when they are not.

  • Work with P&W organizations (Military Engines/MMS Operations/Quality) to ensure a uniform and synergistic approach to the customer.

  • Ensure customers are advised of latest information on new programs, engine capabilities and options, and other pertinent information.

  • Position requires knowledge of administrative matters regarding office operation such as a fixed budget and in full compliance with company procedures, security guidelines and ethics policies.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in either military or commercial engine and component overhaul & repair

5+ years of experience in technical propulsion systems and their components

5+ years of Business, Material and/or Logistics management knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

Continuous improvement experience with ability to develop and implement standard work

Demonstrated effective teaming skills

Strong organizational skills

Education:

B.S. in Engineering and/or Business
