This position is for a lead Quality Assurance technician who works under moderate supervision.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages wheel and brake customer returns including issuing return authorization, work order and sales order generation, parts ordering, shipping and delivery of product.

  • Coordinates engineering evaluation support including maintaining the database, moving materials for testing, closure, and scrap certificate generation.

  • Use critical thinking and problem solving skills to resolve customer related issues. Implement new procedures and techniques to improve processes.

  • Communicate effectively to resolve questions, problems, and escalate complex issues.

  • Periodically assist in orienting and training other employees.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years relevant manufacturing experience

  • Two plus years of MRP (SAP or related) experience, strong computer skills (Microsoft Office), and customer service experience.

Education:

  • Associates Degree (or other 2-year post high school training)
