As a Material Assurance Specialist (MAS), you will be working as a vital link between Planning and Supply Chain to improve delivery performance by reporting misalignment between the production schedule and deliveries of materials 31 days and beyond. Responsible for stock transfers between the production plant and repair station along with participating in critical supplier conversations with our supply chain partners.

Additionally the qualified candidate must possess planning experience with regards to setting production schedule, understanding inventory and routings. This person must be flexible and be able to do both the planning role and the material assurance role with the focus on materials. Applicants must have solid manufacturing experience with focus on root cause analysis and effective interpersonal communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships. The qualified candidate will also need to be familiar with SAP.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with supply chain the flow of critical/hot parts through the suppliers manufacturing shop.

  • Proactively work with supply chain and suppliers to monitor pass thru parts to support On-time deliveries to our aerospace customers.

  • Drive actions to mitigate potential delivery delays by identifying risks, performing root-cause analysis and development of recovery plans to bring shipments back in-line with customer requirements

  • Create daily status reports and communicate actions and plans to all stakeholders with our internal customers.

  • Monitor and track stock transfers to our repair station.

  • Monthly commit and tracking of Airline spares

  • Prepare presentations and lead meetings

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing Experience with a minimum of 3 years

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (2010 Excel)

  • Must possess planning experience with regards to setting production schedule, understanding inventory and routings.

  • Must be flexible and be able to do both the planning role and the material assurance role with the focus on materials.

  • Must have solid manufacturing experience with focus on root cause analysis and effective interpersonal communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships.

  • Familiarity with SAP

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Supply Chain Management, Production Control, Procurement, Business, Quality Assurance or related field.
