As part of the Sensors & Integrated Systems (SIS) team, you'll help develop* the next generation of more intelligent, more integrated and more reliable solutions that enhance aircraft safety and performance in the most rigorous flight conditions. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, research, and develop mechanical designs and their related manufacturing and installation processes.

  • Develop and optimize design applications in structures, systems, and subsystems.

  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Programs, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to achieve optimal design solutions.

  • Applying principles of physics, thermodynamics, stress/strain, and kinematics to develop robust, cost-effective design solutions using modern analysis techniques and tools.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution

  • Must have GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant coursework for mechanical design and analysis: Statics, Dynamics, Solid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, etc

Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution
