The Strategic Planning Specialist will be responsible for driving the organizations strategic growth objectives by monitoring internal and external environment for financial growth opportunities.

  • Establishes key elements of strategy to drive implementation of initiatives, financial growth opportunities and business development efforts.

  • Manages network of relationships with key current and potential customers to achieve shared goals and lead customer relations management.

  • Identifies and monitors the internal and external strategic issues which could affect growth and profitability and develops objectives and plans.

  • Develops acquisition proposals that meet strategic growth plans.

  • Establishes key strategic and operational plans to drive business goals.

  • Develops and leads establishment of teaming agreements/ strategic partnerships to support business growth objectives

  • Summarizes business, financial and economic data to deliver presentations to executives, managers, clients and other stakeholders with latest trends and information.

  • Develops strategic relationships with customers, competitors, suppliers and professional organizations to stay abreast of industry or business trends.

  • Creates business and financial models for representing and predicting the outcomes of various business strategies

  • Lead the collection of business and competitive intel and conducts competitive assessments

  • Makes key recommendations on business investment strategy and leads efforts to prioritize investments based on business case analysis

Qualification: Basic Qualifications

  • MS Office Suite with presentation

  • Experience with U.S. government and commercial aerospace experience

  • Strong business acumen

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization

  • Experience with both commercials and defense aerospace products and services

  • Must be able to relocate to Vermont or Connecticut

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with 3 years’ experience

  • Experience working with Commercial and Military Aerospace Customers

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years working experience
