Primary Responsibilities :

  • Analyze, research, and develop system designs and their related manufacturing and installation processes.

  • Develop and optimize design applications in systems, and subsystems.

  • Implement and support Standard Work processes across all programs to deliver consistent results.

  • Performs requirements management and validation with other teams and disciplines.

  • Performs the decomposition of customer specifications and system level requirements into sub-system and piece part requirements, and generation of verification criteria and plans for the requirements.

  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Programs, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to achieve optimal design solutions.

  • Participate in the proposal process to develop and review new products and systems.

  • Applying principles of physics, system design, and functional requirements to develop robust, cost-effective design solutions using modern analysis techniques and tools.

  • Provide effective technical leadership to the team working on the development of the system.

Education / Certifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or similar field from and Accredited Institution

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in systems engineering and aerospace product development and certification required.

Preferred

  • Working knowledge of systems engineering, FAA Certification, software/hardware integration, aircraft integration, and technology development.
