We have an immediate need for an Account Executive in New York.

The Account Executive will be involved with the following:

  • The sale and marketing of energy infrastructure solutions in the federal sector through performance-based Federal IDIQ contracts

  • Identify new business opportunities, markets and cultivate new customer prospects

  • Develop new RFP/RFQ opportunities

  • Work on highly competitive RFP/RFQ responses in a primary authorship role

  • Presentation of NORESCO and its capabilities

  • Understand and influence customer buying process.

  • Manage sales funnel

  • Coordinate with internal project development teams and others throughout the sales cycle

  • Effectively meet the requirements of internal and external customers.

  • Successfully closing business in compliance with an annual sales goal

  • Provide sound "business judgment." Weighing risk and reward in qualifying and disqualifying opportunities in conjunction with the management team.

  • Ability to meet short- and long-term deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently, regularly and dependably.

  • Demonstrate ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.

  • Actively participate in relevant conferences and trade associations.

  • Develop relationships and partnerships with sub-contractors who have significant presence and solid reputation at Federal facilities

  • Account management to maintain relationships with existing customers and drive new business to help customer meet Federal goals or unfunded site infrastructure requirements through performance-based energy savings contracts

Qualification:

  • 3 years experience in the Federal ESPC, UESC, EUL, Energy Management Consulting, and/or Design/Build market preferred.

  • Previous experience with complex sale cycles that include complex financial arrangements as part of the sale.

  • Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills required

  • The ability to travel approximately 50 percent of the time to included consecutive overnights and attend customer meetings outside of normal business hours.

Education: BS degree technical discipline or Business/Marketing
