We're seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter with strong communication skills to represent the P&W Team. This position is a customer facing role in a high visibility and team oriented environment.

Duties/Responsibilities

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your communications and customer service skills while serving as the point of contact to the United States Air Force (USAF) customer, the Field Service Representative, and the Support Equipment Operations (SEO) group for all Support Equipment (SE) issues.

You’ll be responsible for USAF and Capital SE Accountability (accountability shall include inventory control, ensured configuration control, and care & feeding). The Aircraft Store Parts Liaison will also perform USAF and Capital SE Processing (processing includes repairs, upgrades, shipping, and disposal) as well as manage all capital SE in an approved USAF Electronic Tooling Accountability System or equivalent.

As a part of our team you'll establish communications with local USAF equipment custodians, Aircraft Maintenance Unit, Jet Engine Intermediate Maintenance, Test Cell and Field Training Detachment

Determining scheduled inspections, calibrations, Nondestructive Inspection and Dead Load Testing requirements for capital SE and document inspection results along with contacting SEO for requirements if Care and Feeding is not sufficiently covered in TOD

You'll be conducting monthly inspection of module container humidity indicators, processing issue requests in Integrated Maintenance Dave System (IMDS) or Enterprise Solution-Supply (ESS) and managing the Due in From Maintenance (DIFM) program for Jet Engine Maintenance. Our team also tracks shipping status in the AFMC Tracker and SAP, monitors supply listings (D04, D18, D23, M30 and MICAP Board) to track jet engine maintenance requirements and we assist jet engine maintenance in managing bench stock

Must be capable of lifting 25 pounds unassisted in accordance with Company policies

This is a second shift position, but selected candidate must be willing to work a flex schedule as needed

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.A/B.S Degree in Supply Chain or related field

  • 4 Years of related experience

  • Must be a US Citizen due to DoD contracts

  • Secret Clearance and/or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) and an understanding and knowledge of Air Force Materiel Management Regulations and USAF retail supply procedures to include use of standard supply reports and listings to control and track supply transactions.

  • Experience with Air Force equipment management and tool control procedures is highly desired.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical data and blueprints and engineering changes (EC).

  • Basic computer proficiency and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, and Access)

  • Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability for communicating and interacting with internal and external customers.
