Description:

P&W Military Engines is seeking a Customer Support Representative to represent P&W at a customer location, located in CA. In this high visibility, team oriented environment, the Rep will provide planning and technical support to include engine maintenance, systems troubleshooting, and the sustainment of support equipment, material, and processes. The position will comprise of working closely with P&W Engineering and P&W technicians as well as customer personnel to resolve technical and logistical problems involving propulsion system operation and maintenance. The Rep will coordinate resolution issues with the Engineering and Logistics Program Management team and in some cases will need to identify and react to program obstacles/problems and obtains solutions independently, and with limited resources. Candidate will work primarily 1st shift, but must be willing to be flexible to customer needs. Occasional travel is possible to support customer requirements

Qualification: REQUIRED:

•BA/BS degree in an Engineering discipline with 6+ years experience; OR •MA/MS degree in Business and/or Engineering with 4+ years experience

•4+ years of experience with jet engine architectures, performance, and maintenance

•U.S. Citizenship

•Active U.S. DoD Secret Security clearance

PREFERRED:

•5+ years of previous Field Service Representative or maintenance experience

•Ability to operate autonomously as a co-located customer representative - location U.S west coast

•Knowledge and execution of P&W maintenance, field service and logistics processes

•Demonstrated ability to build enduring customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction

•Critical thinking skills to make decisions that are in alignment with the organization’s strategy and program goals

•Strong ability to communicate with internal management and engineering team, as well as external customers

•Top Secret Security Clearance

Education: REQUIRED: BA/BS degree in an Engineering discipline

PREFERRED: MA/MS degree in Business and/or Engineering
