The Australia MRO&U Repair & Scrap Specialist is primarily responsible for managing the physical and visual security of F135 Spares. In this capacity they will be responsible for processing retrograde hardware returned from the depot and regional unit level locations, including reparable hardware shipping to a vendor, scrap hardware, and other hardware returning to the United States, maintaining full accountability physically and virtually within SAP. The MRO&U Repair & Scrap Specialist will advise and assist the overall depot kitting process to include oversight of the material review board process, U.S. government property verification, and unserviceable material processing, including use and processing of the bulk scrap bin and managing procedural compliance for hardware removed from stock and hardware sent for external repair. Additionally this role will serve as a liaison for non-serviceable hardware management, planning and execution between the local depot, P&W Supply Chain, Government Property Accountability, Military Engine Sustainment Operations (Eagle Supply), P&W Engineering, as well as external groups including the Joint Program Office (JPO), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and other groups as required. This position will also coordinate with the F135 Material Scrap/De-militarization team on F135 processes by focusing on control of material to be held for disposition, preparation of material records for US Government scrap review, issuance of direction to warehouse personnel to pick, pack, ship materials to designated scrap activity, and finally records activity associated with scrap action. This position also maintains government compliant records of scrap certificates, and works with engineering to ensure parts are properly coded for the correct scrap and demilitarization function as required by JCL classification. This function will also ensure that IUID marked parts are removed from the United States Government Property System (Registry), when sent off for scrap. This specialist will be responsible for updating all of PW information systems when material is upgraded or change is required in the U.S. government property system. This position will be dual tasked to assist full MUW operations including Joint Spares Pool (JSP) Inventory including logical (SAP) building and managing Deployment Spares Packages (DSP), for unit level peace time and contingency support operations, and first tailored spares kit builds to support Repair Turn Around Time (RTAT) compression planning for depot level maintenance. They will work hand in hand with the P&W item managers to status and reallocate critical hardware levels for both the depot and GSP in the MUW. This specialist will assist with international trade compliance focal for all international imports and exports originating or ending at the MUW located in Australia. They will be responsible for oversight of all shipping and receiving activities for sensitive technology material. This position will initially be located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for training and Visa approval, then transition to Australia.

Qualification: Required:

Must be a U.S. Citizen with a secret security clearance and be able to maintain security clearance.

4+ years of experience in an operational supply chain and/or logistics management capacity.

Preferred:

In-depth knowledge of PW/UTC internal supply policies, practices, standard work, and SAP spares-related transactions is highly desired. Familiarity with engine Bills of Material, spares configuration management databases, and spares provisioning tables. Good analytical skills are a must: individual must be able to organize, logically analyze and present spares information that may be pulled in from several info systems. A working knowledge of current Department of Defense engine material and logistics support concepts. A good working knowledge of international shipping/export compliance is desired. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate work experience that details examples of self-starting ability, initiative, and capacity to drive complex issues to closure.
