Job Description

The Material Control Laboratory at Pratt & Whitney AutoAir is seeking a skilled laboratory Specialist to perform a broad range of testing in support of local production. The successful candidate should have experience in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and evaluate laboratory testing

  • Control incoming raw materials and parts through established system (MARES)

  • Maintain documentation and compliance to laboratory processes and procedures

  • Provide support to P&W Operations and Engineering Teams

Qualification: Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1+ years of experience in a laboratory environment

  • US Citizenship is required for this position due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong data analysis skills

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • A strong verbal and written communicator with good customer skills

  • Ability to function effectively in a laboratory and production environment with people of a broad variety of skills and backgrounds

  • Able to balance multiple assignments and priorities.
