We have a rare opportunity for a talented Purchasing Analyst to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK.

You will be working within a dynamic team environment supporting our engine component repair services for various P&W MRO business units, government programs and foreign military customers. You'll be performing various Purchasing, Delivery Assurance and Supply Chain Management functions while maintaining focus on engine readiness for our customers.

Role and Responsibilities:

You'll be providing delivery assurance oversight including WIP status review, logistical support, and priority guidance.

As a Purchasing Analyst you'll perform assessments of the supplier’s capability to perform and sustain performance.

You'll diagnose risks and work to develop a comprehensive gap plan by engaging with our suppliers.

Your follow up with the Program team is essential to validate the gap plan and monitor progress to ensure the benefits are being achieved.

You'll also partner with each supplier to establish leading indicators of performance.

This role will also intervene to expedite deliveries and/or resolve delivery issues as required as well as collaborate with ME Spares and LPM organizations to resolve repair detail shortages.

You must support the departmental compliance to UTC Code of Ethics, Environmental, Health and Safety, P&W Procurement Manual, P&W Policies & Procedures.

You'll have the opportunity every day to perform procurement functions such as purchase order placement and modification, preparing request for quotes, order expediting, supplier management, cost analysis, price, problem solving, and metrics reporting/analysis.

Occasional travel required.

Qualification:

Experience/Qualifications:

  • AA/AS in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business or related discipline with +5 years of relevant experience or BA/BS in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business or related discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Microsoft Office

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience analyzing and creating complex reports and metrics from ERP data

  • US Citizen due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP or related ERP system is preferred experience with continuous improvement processes is desirable

  • Able to analyze complex data to develop recommendations for actions to improve departmental or supplier performance

  • Knowledge of procurement in support of government contracts is desirable
