If so, we want to hear from you. We have a rare opportunity for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to support our Georgia Distribution Center. In this role, you will work with Senior SQE’s and the third party logistic provider to support the processes contained within.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Perform as the quality engineer representing Pratt & Whitney

  • Responsible to ensure adherence to the Quality Management Systems

  • Participate in Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) initiatives

  • Assist with quality initiatives to continually improve performance and reduce escapes

  • Support inspection personnel

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Travel up to 10%

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Engineering or related technical field of study preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in quality, engineering, aerospace and/or manufacturing environments

  • US citizenship required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Detail and results oriented with good problem solving skills

  • Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities

  • Understands strategic and business implications and works to provide best P&W solutions

  • High energy, dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement

  • Excellent Judgment and professional maturity

  • Ability to create positive relationships and craft clear communication

  • Proficiency in part inspection including visual, dimensional and geometric, with a good understanding of how to use inspection equipment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work effectively with associates at all levels throughout the organization

  • Possess a strong understanding of effective Quality systems and methodologies and their impact on both the internal and external business environments

  • Computer skills- Proficient in Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, Project, experience with SAP and other IT Quality systems
