Hot Section Engineering is looking for a mechanical and / or aerospace engineering degree student interested in being selected for a design discipline internship which will have them participating in the execution of on-going design efforts across the entire PW product line.

  • Hot Section Engineering is responsible for the development of engine components ranging from the combustor, to turbine rotors and airfoils, to major structural cases which operate at substantially elevated temperatures.

  • This design activity spans all of PW's products ranging from the venerable TF33, JT8D engines to the state of the art military and commercial engines like the F135 engine powering the 5th generation steath F-35 Joint Strike Fighter to the NGPF family of engines which incorporates the revolutionary Geared Turbofan architecture.

  • PW is experiencing explosive growth in commercial engine volumes and is the industry leader in the development and fielding of military fighter engines setting the stage for tremendous opportunities and career growth for many years to come.

Qualification:

Candidates in their freshman, sophomore and junior years of an undergraduate program are encouraged to apply. Students in graduate programs are also eligible

Basic Qualifications:

*US Citizen required

Education:

Candidates should be pursuing a BS or MS degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0
