The Real-time Test Systems Software group is seeking a creative, highly motivated Software / Computer Engineer to develop software solutions for development and production testing of aerospace systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and document software requirements.

  • Work with Test and Systems Engineering groups to implement and apply requirements to the test computer systems for data acquisition and facility control.

  • Provide operational support for the software product and test computers systems in the field and troubleshoot system problems on test stands.

Qualification: Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 to 7 years of software engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Strong system design and integration skills.

  • Working knowledge of real-time programming concepts and real-time operating systems (RTOS) - Linux experience is desirable.

  • Familiarity with GUI programming - GTK or QT is desirable.

  • Strong disciplined software engineering approach to the life cycle of software products.

  • Working knowledge of hardware device driver development and interfacing with embedded systems.

  • Good written and oral communication skills.

  • Significant teaming.

  • Interpersonal and teaming skills are critical in order to be effective in producing and supporting the software product.

  • Work in a dynamic environment where requirements are evolving and field/customer support.
