An opportunity exists to join us; we are looking for you to fill the role of Lead Tech, Non-Product Material in Hot Section Module Center North!
You will perform a wide variety of material processing tasks within an assigned area. Utilize computer to query various screens to retrieve pertinent information. Create requisitions for non-product material, mitigate stock outs on non-product inventory and report out to management on supplier performance. You will be the primary focal point for internal customers regarding non-product material issues and supplier issues. You will be responsible for:
Min-max inventory planning, and creating requisitions for non-product material.
Align with all standard work, purchasing policies, procedures, and processes.
Coordinating the parts tracking process on the shop floor, and assisting with coordinating the routing of parts to outside vendors and to internal repair.
Attend and be prepared to brief at material review meetings, update weekly and monthly statuses for materials, and be able to talk to specific issues within our business unit.
Coordinate with delivery assurance personnel and 3rd part logistics.
Assisting with coordinating the routing of parts to outside vendors and to internal repair.
May be assigned to carry out tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individuals' skills.
Participating in ACE events, teams, committees, events, training that improve the HSMC organization and support achieving Cell and Site ACE objectives, and implement continuous improvement projects for business unit.
Prior material ordering experience in an aerospace OEM/MRO environment.
Prefer experience as a day-to-day user of SAP, entering transactions and running reports.
Demonstrated commitment to Environmental, Health and Safety regulations, policies, procedures and best practices.
HS Diploma or GED
US Citizenship required due to government contracts
Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance
1 + years’ experience with Microsoft Office Suite
1+ years’ experience in warehouse/ inventory
