We have an immediate need for a Senior Leader – Central Plant Engineering.
This senior leadership position will provide technical support for business development pursuits for new Central Boiler and Chiller Plants, CHP Projects and Microgrid Systems. The Central Plant Engineering Group is responsible for analyzing customer’s energy requirements using both in-house and third party software tools and conceptualizing the optimal solution for each unique situation. The Group will manage outside engineering and permitting consultants to develop scopes-of-work for firm fixed pricing and air permit applications; negotiate major equipment purchase agreements and coordinate agreements with various utility services.
Responsibilities will include:
Quality control review of savings analysis, bid package work scopes, major equipment purchase agreements and subcontracts prepared by others during project development and for existing in-house projects in construction.
The position must interface and work flawlessly with other internal departments, including sales, business development, energy conservation engineering, construction, commissioning, measurement & verification and Central Plant O&M.
Position will refine existing Central Plant Engineering methods and processes, and provide management, oversight and mentoring of a team of mechanical and electrical engineers.
Minimum Experience: 20-years
Education: Minimum Education: BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
