The Eastern Region currently has an opening for a Construction/Mod Superintendent.

This position requires demonstrated ability to direct, supervise and lead the performance of field operations for the maintenance and new equipment installation side of Otis’ business and has the responsibility for direct supervision of construction mechanics and installation teams. The position requires regular meetings with customers to be held to address their needs and ensure that the sites are properly prepared for our installation.

Specific responsibilities for this position include:

  • Field education training

  • Route control and scheduling

  • Authorization of repair orders

  • Quality assurance and the customer, safety, technical support, and expenditure of labor materials and other assets

  • Scheduling labor resources

  • Managing an operating budget

  • Supporting the sale of equipment upgrades, identifying and driving efficiency improvements in our new equipment operations

  • Conducting frequent elevator audits
