This position is for a Senior Software Engineer to work in the Information and Intelligence (I&I) Engineering group, developing applications as relating to Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems. Here in Westford, we design, build and maintain airborne electro-optical remote sensing systems. As part of the I&I team, you will contribute to developing these “state of the art” systems. The I&I team focuses on the image and meta-data processing and converting that data into intelligence products. We also work with machine learning to build more actionable intelligence.
In this position, you would be part of that growth, participating on multi-disciplinary teams, creating new advanced ISR capabilities. Qualified candidates should have experience C/C++, up through C++14. They should have experience with image processing. They should have a reasonable understanding of prototyping languages, such as Matlab, Python or IDL. They should be knowledgeable regarding development tools and environments, such as various IDEs, GIT, Jenkins, Atlasian tools (JIRA, Bit bucket, Artifactory and Confluence). They should be familiar with either Agile and waterfall development approaches. They should be able to lead projects, interface with customers and look at projects from a big picture level. They should be able to convert system requirement into software requirements.
Experience in the DOD intelligence or a US Government Security Clearance would be a plus.
Applying individuals must be a US Citizen. They must be willing and able to obtain a US Government Clearance.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 7 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience.
·Develop robust, maintainable, product level code mostly in C++, in the linux environment
·Code algorithms in C++ from prototypes in Matlab, IDL or an Algorithm Description Document (ADD)
·Write clear documentation that supports the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC)
·Actively contribute to a strong team oriented environment
·Lead projects with small teams
·Communicate and brief inter-disciplinary teams, management and customers on the technical aspects of work being performed
·Tackle technical challenges and create unique, robust solutions
·Quickly learn and contribute in new areas of technology

·EO sensor calibration and geo-location
·Automated target recognition
·Automated target tracking
·JAVA, Python languages
