The Interlogix Regional Sales Manager role is responsible for managing relationships with all top revenue producing customers and developing total product sales growth for our dealer and distribution channel. This position will cover the Illinois and Indiana regions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ownership of all relationships (dealers, distributors, consultants, and end-users), channel management and sales activities within assigned region

  • Deliver on financial objectives

  • Develop and implement sales actions plans to effectively and efficiently execute on business strategy

  • Develop key sales competencies required to maximize success including but not limited to, prospecting, lead generation, influencing, business acumen and business judgement

  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of customers, opportunities, markets and competition

  • Develop, maintain, and execute on aggressive account growth plans with customers in assigned region

  • Provide customer with connections to appropriate internal resources to ensure value and ease of doing business

  • Provide customer with growth and support initiatives through product demonstrations, regional trade shows, and product roadshows

  • Own RFP response and submission process within assigned region

  • Execute on internal business deliverables within established timeframe

  • Provide productive, strategic and market feedback to the appropriate stakeholders

  • Develop and execute plans to support customer and market training needs

  • Manage and execute strategic market initiatives and programs

Qualification:

  • 5-10 years of sales experience in the security, intrusion, video and access control industry

  • Proven sales skills including prospecting, negotiating, influencing and selling

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities

  • Proven ability to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to interface and influence at various levels within the organization

  • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills

  • Proactive and high energy

  • Strong customer focus and responsiveness

  • Technically competent to lead product demonstrations

  • Self managed and goal oriented

  • Ethical

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 7+ years’ experience

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 to 7+ years’ experience

  • Master's degree with 2-5+ years’ experience
