As an Electrical Design Engineering Intern at Collins Aerospace, you will work with a multi-disciplined, technical design team in the development and integration of state-of-the-art electronic products for military and commercial aviation applications. Our design team is highly motivated and relentlessly focused on achieving high quality results for our customers. Our major product line includes engine-mounted controls and diagnostic components for Pratt & Whitney turbofan and Pratt & Whitney Canada turbofan and turboprop engines. The Electrical Design Engineering Intern shall be responsible for:
Design and development of analog and digital interfaces.
Detail circuit analysis of analog and digital interfaces.
Laboratory testing of electronic modules using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and other test equipment.
Design support of existing products.
Development of product documentation such as schematics, test plans and reports.
Support organizational process improvement initiatives.
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field from an accredited institution.
Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field from an accredited institution.
Must have completed at least 30 credit hours of college coursework by May 2019
Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above
Must be willing to work 40 hours per week onsite.
Requires US citizenship or permanent residence (green card).
Microsoft Office skills are required.
Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communications skills.
The ability to work independently and make sound ethical decisions in a collaborative team environment is a must.
