The Materials Planning Manager should be an energetic and highly motivated individual to lead the Production Control team. This position will be responsible for analyzing the state of the business and driving improvements at the functional level.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities also include leading all strategic material functions including:

  • Transactional Data Integrity, Aged WIP Reviews, Schedule Alignment, On-Time Delivery, Delivery/Financial Commitments and execution (OE and Aftermarket) and supporting customer/supplier reviews.

  • The candidate should be able to work independently and effectively communicate with all levels of management including supply chain, production supervision, contracts, and program office.

  • Candidate must be highly knowledgeable in using computer software applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, to use existing tools, but with the expectation of creating new tools as needed to support the business.

  • Candidate must be able to lead a team and provide the level of data analysis and oversight required to meet key metrics including but not limited to:

  • On Time Delivery (OE & AM), Overdue Sales, Reduced Aged WIP, Delivery Assurance, and Data Integrity (necessary cleanup and organization).

  • Candidate will also participate and/or lead ACE activities to drive continuous improvement and improve material flow.

Education:

Bachelor degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or Materials with 3 years of experience is recommended

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Materials Planning or Production Control, SAP experience and CPIM certification is preferred.
