Primary Responsibilities:

  • As a Pack Assembly and Installation Intern at UTC Aerospace Systems you will assist in preparing large assembly drawings for Engineering Changes.

  • You will learn about the large assembly drawing process and how CAD models are converted to drawings and ultimately assembly work instructions.

  • Time will be spent working with manufacturing engineers and pack assemblers.

  • Additionally, you will interface with many other functional groups within the UTAS Air Management Systems organization to ensure engineering change documents are complete and accurate.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be willing to work 40 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of 2D assembly drawings

  • Basic understanding of 3D CAD modeling tools

  • Ability to work independently

  • Results-oriented

  • Willingness to work with assemblers

  • Teamwork & Collaboration

Education:

  • Must be pursuing a high school diploma--at least sophomore status by June 2018.

  • GPA of 3.0 or above is required
