Primary Responsibilities:

  • The Military Aftermarket organization is seeking an energetic, proactive person with proposal/project management experience.

  • ​This position is responsible for ensuring proposals submitted by our external customers are processed efficiently thru the various stages of the proposal process and result in the timely submittal of a bid for new business.

  • A successful candidate will be able to act as a liaison within UTAS by interacting closely with other teams and functions including program management, contracts, finance, plant sites and supply chain.

  • He/she will be responsible for prioritizing proposals, working thru any turn backs found during the process by pulling in required resources or skill set and escalating those issues when needed.

Qualification: Qualifications:

Basic Qualification:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in project/proposal management role or Contracts Administration in the Aerospace Industry is desired.

  • The role will also require communication with external customers on proposal status and overall customer support; this will require working in the DIBBS system used by the US Government.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills are required.

  • Data mining skills are required including Excel and its various data analysis functions.

  • Experience with SAP.

  • Must have strong communication skills and be detail-oriented and results driven.

  • Candidate must be comfortable in providing proposals updates to all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP a plus.

  • Customer Service experience is preferred.

  • A general understanding of Aerospace drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes is preferred.

Education: Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.

  • MBA is desired.
