Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with Quality Manager to:

  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers as it relates to Escapes, Quality Management System Procedures, Regulations and Compliance related questions.

  • Ensure repair station is in compliance with all associated quality procedures and policies including quality requirements driven by the FAA/EASA/CAAC and future regulatory agencies

  • Preform internal quality audits per the AS9110 standard

  • Periodic review and updating of all repair station manuals and procedures

  • Assist in activities associated with supplier quality, warranty process, part purges and MRB activities

  • Perform and lead Relentless Root Cause and Corrective Action (RRCA) for any quality issues within repair station.

  • This role will be expected to not only support the quality manager but also be an active contributor towards the business operation.

  • The candidate will be exposed to all aspects of the business.

  • Flexibility and willingness to take on additional tasks outside of the core quality role is required.

Education:

  • BA/BS in engineering, operations, quality systems or related field.

This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in operations, manufacturing or other quality related field.

  • Experience with FAA Part 145 Repair station regulatory requirements and Code of Federal Regulations

  • ACE Associate (Lead QCPC/VSM/3P activities) or Lean Manufacturing 6 Sigma green belt experience

  • Experience in Microsoft applications:

  • Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace, Aftermarket, and Lean Manufacturing experience/training strongly desired.

  • Demonstrated experience in making sound judgments.

  • Strong verbal, organizational and written communication skills
