As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including an Inside Sales Manager in our Seating Products located in Winston-Salem, NC.

JOB SUMMARY

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for seating sales activities and achievement of bookings targets for specific bid campaigns as allocated by the Director, Sales & Marketing. Working with the sales and account management teams, this is a generalist internal sales role covering technical investigation and specification of customer requirements; development and execution of bid sales strategy; price and contract negotiation, and handover of a clearly defined program to Program Management for execution.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops product and proposal strategies for allocated bid campaigns in conjunction with Seating Product Group (SPG) Sales & Marketing team and the account management team.

  • Briefs external sales team and provides expert support covering product features, benefits and competitive advantages; material specifications; engineering, certification, and schedule requirements, and constraints.

  • Leads responses to RFQ's ensuring best technical and commercial solutions are used. Supports external sales in commercial and contractual negotiations.

  • Coordinates with internal departments as required ensuring capacity is available when negotiating program timescales and that orders are passed over to program management / engineering / operations with clearly defined technical and commercial requirements.

  • Attends sales and marketing meetings and training as required.

  • Completes periodic bookings, backlog and sales reports including opportunities and key objectives as required.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; and a minimum of five years related experience; or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.
